Disability Pride Month 2024. Celebrating pride month is a vital step, as it will be a step towards building an environment where there is inclusion and support to broader social change. Disability pride month is celebrated every july and is an opportunity to honor the history, achievements, experiences, and struggles of the disability community.
It marks the anniversary of the americans with disabilities act (ada), landmark legislation that broke down barriers to inclusion in society. Lgbtq+ pride month is starting to show its colors around the world.
